A special feature will be available for this auction. All birds are listed at the idreampigeons.com web site with pictures, descriptions and pedigrees (click here to go to this site) This on-line auction will close at 6 PM Eastern Time on Saturday June 12, 2021 (the night before the live auction) and the high bidder will have both the starting bid at the live auction and their proxy bid will be carried forward to the live auction.
The Live Auction:
The members of the Fort Sutter Racing Pigeon Club are having, for the first time, an auction of birds from the outstanding racing pigeon loft of Frank Martinez (Paco Loft) of Woodland, California.
Frank Martinez has been racing pigeons since 1974. He has raced in the very competitive Yolo, TCH, Sacramento and Fort Sutter clubs as well as many of the top One Loft Races (OLR). His family of birds trace back to the best of Lumachi, Vernazza, Galaxy Devriendt and Bieche. It has been developed over these 47 years with birds that have had to fly well to earn their perch. Frank is retiring from club racing and is offering this very special group of birds.
Here are just a few examples of the exceptional quality of Frank’s birds:

2015: 1st drop California Classic winning $25,000 (he is in this auction - Lot 24!)

Two weeks later Frank won another $25,000 in a OLR in Las Vegas.

2016: AU ranked as 23rd best Young Bird in California, all lofts
(690-AU-16-PACO).

2017: AU ranked as 12th best Young Bird in California, all lofts
(758-AU-17-PACO).

2018: Frank entered 5 OLRs and was in the money in all 5.
Perhaps one of the most important examples of the quality of Frank’s birds is the number of club members who have them in their flying and breeding lofts.
Frank will be in attendance at the auction and will be happy to answer questions and provide advice.
Bidders who can’t attend the auction but want to buy some great birds on-line will be able to do so with the help of our proxy bidder. At many of the Fort Sutter Club auctions, birds with proxy bids were successfully purchased at much less than what bidders had approved as their top proxy price. Submit bids by 9:00 p.m. Pacific Time Saturday June 12, 2021. Birds can be shipped to anywhere in the continental United States at cost (be aware of new higher Postal rates, but we will use smaller boxes to help mitigate this).
